This is the story of the AMI Airport Shuttle Guy, where personal travel challenges sparked an innovative business venture.


Picture a Sunday night returning home after a week long trip during Thanksgiving, trying to secure an Uber at the Sarasota airport. Dropped reservations and enduring an hour in the rain led to a last minute 9pm ride from a neighbor. As the owner of a current thriving AMI company in tourism, this experience inspired me to go after and create a new island business idea.

In collaboration with a good friend, we came up with an exclusive airport only shuttle service for Anna Maria Island and its neighboring airports, Sarasota, St. Petersburg-Clearwater, and Tampa. Our local perspective became an advantage, ensuring top-notch transportation, particularly for those facing travel challenges getting to and from AMI.


AMI Airport Shuttle Guy took off just days before Christmas 2023, committed to providing a reliable and premium transportation experience for both vacationers and locals. AMI Airport Shuttle Guy is transforming travel challenges into seamless journeys for everyone to enjoy the paradise of Anna Maria Island and it's lifestyle.

Basic Details and Price

All our rides are private airport shuttle transfers, where our fees are per trip, ensuring an exclusive and personalized journey. Our spacious shuttles can comfortably accommodate 1-7 passengers along with luggage. Please note that child seats are never included, parents must provide their own. It's recommended to check with your airlines, as most allow you to fly with child/baby essentials for free. Our competitive prices begin at $95 for travel through SRQ and $150 for PIE & TPA.
